Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
Female becomes very plump and tends to venture around the tank more. Male picks a den and usually remains in or near it.

Spawning Behavior:
Female hovers mid-water column and male will dart out of his den, charge at the female, then dash away while doing an exaggerated "bob-and-weave" swim
Post Spawn Behavior:
Male remains mainly in his den, female cruises around the tank.

Size: |
~1mm, but not measured
Color: |
Yellowish-clear when first laid, darken as eyes develop

Description:
Eggs are spherical and flat-ish, attached to the PVC individually, yellow-clear when first spawned and darken as they develop.
Location:
Inside a 1" 90 degree PVC elbow
Other Details:
Exact first spawn date is unknown, but likely a day or two prior to when I first noticed the eggs. The more developed ones were spotted first, then the eggs laid that day were noticed as well.
