Spawn Details
Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
The female swims about the tank, and the male comes out occasionally to check her whereabouts and half-heartedly attempt to get her to come to the spawning PVC den.
Spawning Behavior:
The male darts out of the PVC den and finds the female. Then he darts back to the den, attempting to lead her. She eventually follows, but it usually takes several attempts.
Post Spawn Behavior:
The female swims about the tank and the male typically remains in the PVC den with the eggs, rarely venturing out even for food.
