NOTE - the date of spawning was always UNKNOWN as it happened in secret and eggs were never observable. Therefore, the date posted with this report is unreliable. I do not know the incubation time on this species...only that it can spawn as frequently as every 10 days (based on the fact that I've found larvae as closely as 10 days apart).
The ONLY proof I have that these guys ever spawned was that I was able to collect the larvae!!! Since I knew what the larvae of the other fish in the tank would look like, it was very easy to attribute the larvae I found to this pair of fish.
