I am not positive exactly when these two shrimp starting spawning, but I noticed molts and saw flashes of eggs about 1 to 1.5 months after being together. They could have started before that and I just wasn't paying enough attention.

Spawn Details
Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
They usually are within a few inches of one another whereever they are in the tank. I have noticed that a couple days before the larger shrimp is due to release larvae it moves to the base of the drain pipe and the small one stays in their usual spot in the tank.
Spawning Behavior:
None noted, occurs after lights out so it is not witnessed.
Post Spawn Behavior:
The two go back to being within several inches of one another

The pigment of the adult makes it difficult to see, silver/reflective near hatch

>200, although I haven't counted them at hatch

The eggs are very difficult to see due to the dark red pigmentation of the adult. I have only really looked at the eggs near hatching and at that point they have eyes and the eggs look silvery.

Eggs are carried under the abdomen of the shrimp
