Time Together:
(how long have you had the pair before this event)
I first introduced them to each other in the summer of 2012. They were bumped around to different tanks a few times as I had little faith in the female as a producer since she had failed to produce with 2 other males. Their final move was 10/28/12.

Feeding
Food: |
Mostly homemade mash, some frozen PE Mysis, some HBH Super Soft Spirulina pellets, and some TDO EP1. They are not very good feeders, they are skittish.
Feeding Schedule:
2-3x daily.

Spawn Details
Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
None observed before first spawn. Totally unexpected. They do seem a bit more skittish than usual for a couple days before spawning, but they are normally quite skittish. Otherwise, they don't really act any different pre-spawn. The female's ovipositor is only visible during spawning. I am usually surprised to see them spawning.
Spawning Behavior:
Typical clownfish spawning. Female very slowly "skids" along the surface leaving eggs. The male quickly follows behind in the same fashion.
Post Spawn Behavior:
Very hungry for a couple days after. They do their best eating at this time. They don't really act much different. In my other pairs, the male will be so preoccupied with egg tending that he doesn't eat much, but this male isn't so intent. He still seems to do just fine though. Also unlike my other pairs, they are less skittish when they have eggs.
