Male shakes in front of the female, both clean spawning site

Spawning Behavior:
|
Female lays a few eggs, then male fertilizes them. Both continue to clean spawn site around eggs. This continues until all eggs have been laid.

Post Spawn Behavior:
|
Male tends to eggs, fanning them with his fins and picks around them with his mouth. Female stays close guarding them.

First spawn was in April 2011. Male would pick eggs off spawn site about as fast as female would lay them. They spawned irregularly during this peroid. This happened for 10 months.
