Spawn Details
Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
Cleaning the rock but this time they were cleaning the top of the rock instead of the side they normally clean near their anemone. They will also have a little courtship dance which they start swimming round and round each other/ She is letting him know it is almost time.
Spawning Behavior:
The female will lay about a dozen or so eggs and then inspect them and shake and then the male will be right behind her and then fertilize them as she starts laying more. They will do this for about and hour inspecting them as they go.
Post Spawn Behavior:
Male starts tending and the female runs the other fish away. The male tends to them even during feeding time and will run out to grab a bite to eat but hurries back the the clutch to care for them fining them and blowing water over the eggs.
