Spawn Details
Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
Although they spend most of their time in very close proximity to each other the two or three days before spawning they seemed to be hanging out on the opposite sides of the tank from each other. What I believed to be the female was avoiding the male. I think this was due to the fact that the male kept sniffing around her belly thus aggravating her. They also exhibited a shaking behavior beside each other. One would get beside the other and do a shake/convulsion.

Spawning Behavior:
Not observed.
Post Spawn Behavior:
The couple stays within close proximity of each other once again. They stay in the bottom front corner of the tank near the sand. The male has not eaten. They actually seem less skiddish as well.
