| Feeding Tactics/Medium: |
1 ml of f/2 per 2 liter bottle at start of batch. No further additions until split.
Culture medium is 20 ppt saltwater(Instant Ocean) taken from water change out of broodstock tanks, filtered through 100 microns, diluted to 20 ppt, and bleached at 1 ml per gallon. 1 and a third liter is poured into each 2 liter bottle, capped, shaken, and allowed to sit for at least overnight.

| Split Cycle: |
When ready to split, a bottle of bleach water is dechlorinated with Sodium Thiosulfate, 6%, and fertilized with 1 ml of f/2 Guillard's. Cap and rigid airline is transferred from the dense culture bottle to the new bottle, and the fertilized water is topped off with dense culture. Air pump is connected (or not) and the bottle goes on the shelf next to the light source. |
