Culturing Vessel Details
Temperature:	70 ° F
PH:	not tested
Specific Gravity:	1.018
Vessel Description:	white 5 gallon bucket with no lid to allow ambient light in.
Lighting:	only ambient
Lighting Schedule:	a nearby sump does have a light on 24 hours a day but most light is from about 9am to 10pm when most lights in the area turn off

Methodologies
Feeding Tactics/Medium:	I started feeding 1ml of rotigrow plus a day, I am now up to 1.5 ml per day. I add equal parts of chloramX at the same time as feeding every day.
Split Cycle:	Not on a cycle, I split/ harvest every couple days to keep the culture young and reproducing.
Split Yield:	unknown how many I collect when I harvest
Number of Cultures:	Two
Number of Splits:	so far only twice, the cultures are still ramping up
Density:	unknown
Harvest Methology:	I pour a quart or more through a screen (I don't know the micron size) and then back pour into a collection cup or into my reef tank.
Adjustments Made:	I am feeding more now that the culture is denser and larger in volume but other than that no adjustments have been made. I don't really expect to have to change anything, I'm expecting these to be just the same as the large strain rotifers in terms of care.

Other Information:	I have isolated these from my main fish room to try avoiding contamination from my large strain rotifers. I have also set up all new equipment that is labeled "SS rotifers only".
