These snails settle prior to hatching from the egg capsule. Since I've got several batches of eggs and posted pictures of some "settled" snails on 1/3 I thought it'd be ok to go ahead and post a settlement even report. They ended up hatching last night, 3 days after I noticed they had settled.
MWP - "HATCH and SETTLEMENT are basically one and the same [...]. At any rate, file a HATCH report as well, as I assume the hatch yesterday is the ongoing continuation of the spawn report. This settlement report can be for that, just update the dates to be appropriate. The date for Hatch and SETTLMENT should be the same for this species" |
