dark chocolate brown, with two stripes clearly visible and then the third stripe comes in pretty quick thereafter. Could be that the third stripe was less visible on one fry I pulled out one day and then more visible on another fish pulled out a few days later |

I didn't take any pictures of the clarkii fry immediately after meta, I just pulled one out 47 dph to take a picture with a polymnus/sebae hybrid. The clarkiis immediately post met look very similar to the hybrid in the picture with the clarkii in my thread, just smaller. The bright yellow develops with age, as seen in the 47 dph clarkii. |
