Food: |
At settlement they were still getting both rotifers and Otohime A. but pretty much as soon as they settled I stopped adding rotifers. Im sure they are still eating some rotifers since they are still in there but no more have been added since 8/16 and they all are eating the Otohime A when being fed. |
Feeding Schedule: |
Now that its just the Otohime A Im feeding four times a day spread out as best I can. |
Fry Description: (Pre Settlement) |
thin rice shaped with only light and dark shades not orange and no stripes, swimming is more of a darting motion, silvery eyes. |
Fry Description: (Post Settlement) |
Fry are mostly orange with one stripe, some have very faint start of a second stripe. They swim with a wiggle and are very active swimmers. All are eating Otohime A. They are more oval shaped now. |

Other Information: |
A couple notes of procedures. From the very first day I start a drip of fresh RO/DI water to replace evaporation. After a couple days I also Add about a quart of fresh saltwater in the same drip method so dilute any pollution build up. My first water change was about a gallon and at one week, I plan to do this every couple days. I start feeding the night of hatch with rotifers and tint the water with rotigreen. I gradually start reducing the amount of rotifers added and the amount of rotigreen at about day 4 or 5. At this time I start adding Otohime A. The complete switch took untill day 8. |
