Dark orange to black clown fry, sensitive to light or movement and quite jumpy.
Appearance is similar to most clown fry except darker. |

Typical clown fish behavior as fry, once settled they are darker than most other clowns, similar to clarkii. Two bands are evident on most of the fish today (2/8/12), with the head band easy to identify, the tail band is just starting to become visible (via camera, not noticed by eye). See very average photo in journal, second bar looks like an indent in the fish due to white background. |
