Larvae Description:

Larvae is transparent except for the silver eyes and stomach. Long and thin. Approx 1/16 - 1/8" long. The larvae are strongly attracted to light, and are vigorous swimmers. They are able to swim and change direction well enough to avoid capture by net as well as by weak suction of turkey baster and larvael snagger. |
