Unmistakeable once we identified them. Huge rostratum is probably 90% of the larva's length. The rest looks kinda like a shrimp tail ;) See the pictures in the breeding log. Craziest larvae I've personally seen! |

Made it to 10 days with these. Had problems with hydroids in the larval tank, and may have killed the last one inadvertently. Apparently there are reports of other species from this genus being reared in the lab. I may try this species again later... |
