They hatched in the brood stock tank ( a 20 gallon tank ). I set the pump and filter on a timer so they turned off when the lights did. When they hatched I used a flashlight to lure them to the service and then scooped them out of the tank and moved them |

Since these hatched in the brood stock tank I am using the information for that tank for the "tank parameters" section. I did remove these fry and set them up in a black round tub with about 5 gallons of water taken directly from the brood stock tank so the PH, temp, and specific gravity #s are all the same for the BRT and the Brood stock tank they hatched in. See my journal for pics of the BRT set up, and details of rearing attempts. Also I am using my second hatch for this report. There is information including pictures from both hatches. |
