Larvae are spitting images of mom and dad. Miniature versions of adults. Fully formed, eyes, mouth, stripes (black and white) tails and fins everythings there! They hit the ground running!
With unhatched (early stripping) some of the eggs come out in a ball (silver orange tint to its color) and you can tell it's a fish folded upon itself in the later stages of development. |

My stripped eggs were stripped at day 19, the male would have nothing to do with this process...so I lost more than half (I suspect) of his clutch. eggs finished developing in a wine glass tumbler in the sump of my 90g reef tank. this worked VERY WELL! :) |
