This is rather complex. First hatch was the night of the 27th into the 28th, but only yielded 2 offspring. The bulk of the hatch occurred the night of the 28th into the 29th, just after midnight again. |

First Food: |
Rotifers grown with RotiGrow Plus, kept enriched with RotiGreen Nanno in greenwater technique. TDO A1, and Otohime A added starting day 7. Brine shrimp nauplii added to routine after 9 days. |
Larvae Description:
( Do larvae have eyes, mouth, gut, attracted to light, etc?) |
very small for clownfish larvae; given the potential I did not put ANY under a micrscope to measure - my estimate is 3 mm, maybe a bit more. Smaller than Ocellaris, maybe comparable to my perculas. Initially it looked like a 100% hatch rate, so I would assume we stated with 310 larvae. |
