Larvae are clear with shiney eyes at birth. Phototaxic, attracted to light. Head stripe appears after day 5, middle stipe ususally by day 14, and tail stripe is complete by day 28. |

Clay pot with eggs is moved to the 10G that is half filled with water from the broodstock system. The eggs are aerated with bubbles from an airstone to keep them fungus free. After the eggs hatch the pot is rememoved. A sponge filter is added after day 14 and phyto is stopped. |
