Fry Description: |
About 1/2in long they have brown eyes with a small pupil. They are a maroon color like the parents, and they have three stripes. Have the distinctive horn that grows on maroon clowns the horn is very small and on both cheeks. |

The fry had their water tinted with microalgae until they were 14 days and they were fed baby brine shrimp until day 16. They have been flake food from their sixteenth day of life on. Water changes were done every three days. There was a piece of live rock in the tank it was very small. There were also misis shrimp which inhabited the tank. There were some apistasia in the tank. The clowns spent about 40 days of their life after metamorphosis in a ten gallon tank with a bubble filter.
This ten gallon tank included a heater, a piece of live rock, and a bubble filter. The tank was painted black around the sides and white on the bottom. The tank was filled to about 9 gallons the dimensions were 20in x 10in x 12in. |
