Extremely cannibalistic when crowded! Even when fed well, they will kill their neighbor during a molt. Low stocking levels and plenty of hiding places is paramount after settlement. Also, being able to remove the larger ones so they do not prey on the smaller guys is very helpful to reducing mortalities. |
