Other Information:	C. cryptica is an interesting diatom that posesses the ability to directly take in a carbon source from surrounding environment in instances lacking light. Has been used for aquaculture (see FAO doc) but not extensively studied. Cell size 3-5um may be perfect for enrichment of cilates or other filter feeder.
