would classify O. marina as FC1 personally but I think we should get Andy and Gale to weigh in on this as well

The story around the scientific community is that these are considered very difficult to keep in culture. Of course, you've heard my story with them. They are work--especially to keep the cultures relatively contaminant-free--but with good foods they are certainly do-able. I would say that they aren't as easy as nanno or rots, but not nearly as difficult as one of the harder phytos like T-Iso.

hrmm see I concider these guys to be standard simple fare as I have not had issue with them, though they take work I consider each and every culture to take work so I throw a lot of that out. I consider T-iso as an FC2, with other species such as Dunaliella as FC3 due to the requirements. Though thats me, just wanted others opinions. I would say that with no other objections keep the FC2 classification (since it is now two to one and I will take note for my future runs. Bear in mind when I classify FC classifications that my primary goal as a hobbyist is protists so naturally I find the classifications slightly different. Thanks for weighing in Andy. I will wait a day or so for more thoughts before I give my final say.

Unless there is any argument otherwise I think we can approve this one
