12/20/13 09:51 AM Found this: http://scholarspace.manoa.hawaii.edu/bitstream/handle/10125/4030/v24n1-84-89.pdf?sequence=1 Based on a bit of research into crabs lately (since I seem to be working with them more than I planned!) it looked like Majidae crabs (ie Mithrax and many others) have two zoeal stages and one megalopa, whereas Xanthidae crabs (ie rubble crabs) have four zoeal stages and one megalopa. I don't know anything about the Lybia genus, however, in terms of how "difficult" it would be. The suggested class was really just a guess based on zero information I had at the time, but perhaps B or C would be better? Guessing the class level is so hard with invertebrates because even members of the same genus can have wildly different levels of difficulty.
