http://www.worldwidereefers.com/forums/showthread.php?4263-List-of-captive-bred-livestock - http://www.rcthawaii.com/cvb/5.htm - this is highly questionable at this moment. I have personally contacted Joost De Vries, the presumed author of the list, to ask for more info, and it appears that Joost simply used Frank Baensch's list. Which means, Frank is the real person to ask....
PENDING further clarifications on Joost's list. Spawning mode currently unknown..could spawn in nests, could broadcast. We need MORE INFO.

Requires more research before approval, and we need to talk to Baensch about the success reference. Relevant not as an ornamental itself (I don't believe you're allowed to harvest it for aquarium use...it's a foodfish), but because it's related to other Hogfish that ARE of interest to aquarists. |
