OK, that's not the best reference, but the truth is that many of the smaller groupers we see occasionally in the hobby are reared as foodfish. We should get someone on the team to research this in more depth and classify these species, updating references as possible too. This is more of a "to do" submission than a fully reference one. I look at a listing like this as being a gateway into someone working with Serranus or, for example, the more common smaller groupers like Miniatus which maybe aren't reared for food.... |
