What research have you done into the actual reproduction of this species - we're looking for references that can back up why you believe this to be an invert of class C vs. a B, D etc..? What else have you found?

I'm basing the classification request on the fact that my E. glabrescens recently spawned. I chose the class based on some of the other invertebrates I have seen on the site. I don't have any true research to back up the claim or class, except for pictures that I took.

I'm certainly willing to accept personal observations, so my followup question would be - have you reared any offspring?

Unfortunately no. The coral spawned about a week ago, and my fish ate all the eggs within about an hour. All I have is pictures of the spawn. I'm hoping it will spawn again though, so I can try to rear some.

Have you done any other investigation into the reproduction or captive breedingof any Euphyllia?

I have not. I know that they can spawn and reproduce sexually, but I have only witnessed it the once, and have not researched it much more than that.
