Glen, this species request has been out there a while; the problem is with doing something to the genus level. There are literally potentially hundreds of species - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holothuria
So...that means that someone could breed dozens of these, but there'd be no way for the system to recognize is. The reality is that if we have species in the trade, they will still have a trade name even if the species ID could be in question. So I see two realistic routes to go here. #1 - submit the particular species you're interested in working with as an actual species, or #2 - use a trade name that makes sense...eg. Holothuria sp. "Tiger Tail", and when requesting the species with a trade name, do the due diligence of trying to find an appropriate species name. I've not denied this request outright because I'm wanting to hear your thoughts on my comments.

We have given this request some thought and have decided we do not need to reach species level to every entry in the species list but we need to narrow it as much as we can and the suggestion Matt has given may be a solution.
If you are breeding any cucumber species, few free to start a journal and we can figure together the best way to open a request and include it in the species list.
