May be a direct developer based on breeding reports from the 1960's. May well actually be one of the first marine aquarium fish to have been spawned and reared. References talk about collecting wild spawned eggs, but it is conceivable that captive spawning may have occurred, although there is no explicit mention of where spawning took place in Straughan's references. There are however, pictures of juveniles. pretty cool fish. |
