Chad, do you have any links to breeding-related information? Why class C vs. B or D?

Lysmata amboinensis is class D, while the other peppermints are either class A or B. Fire shrimp seem to be right in the middle based on what I've read on them. honestly i think all the lysmata should be class D, as they take forever! hehe

Tougher than L. amboinensis because they have a little longer pelagic stage is what I've heard. I'd argue for D.

Hmm. I've heard that L. amboinensis is far longer than L.debelius. Obviously more research is required.

From Calado (p. 114):
L. amboinensis days to meta: 58 days (his ref: Fletcher et al., 1995)
L. debelius days to meta: 75 days (his ref: Palmtag & Holt, 2001)
Fletcher: Preliminary Observations on the reproductive biology of ornamental cleaner prawns. International Zoo Yearbook, 34, 73-77.
Palmtag: Captive rearing of fire shrimp (Lysmata debelius). Texas Sea Grant College Program Research Report, Texas A&M, Galveston TX.
Palmtag also has a 2007 article, Experimental studies to evaluate larval survival of the fire shrimp, L. debelius, to the juvenile stage. Journal of World Aquaculture Society, 37, 126-131.

Sure, but Luis got a lot of marking-time molts, too.
